I graduated in Architecture but, after some years of working as an architect I realised that I would rather paint animals and the things that surrounded me. Hence I did a course in Illustration.

Since 1997 I have illustrated more than 50 children's books working with publishers in various parts of the world including Italy, England, the US, France, Canada, Spain and Japan.
I have received mentions and prizes and I have taken part in various exhibitions.

To mention some:
In 1998 I was selected to participate at the exhibition of the illustrators at the Bologna Book Fair
In 1999 Illustrations of "The sheep who wanted to fly" were awarded the second TIBI Prize at the 4th Teheran International Biennale of Illustration and exhibited at the Museum of Contemporary Art.
I was selected to participate at the XVIII (in 2000) and the XXX edition (in 2012) of the international exhibition of illustrations for children of Sarmede "Le immagini della fantasia"

In 2005 I illustrated three Fairy Tales for Corriere della Sera-RCS ( Milan) : The Frog Prince, The Wolf and the seven kids by Brothers Grimm and The Ugly Duckling by Hans Christian Andersen. They were part of the series "Great Tales" This series won the Italian Andersen Award for BEST NECKLACE 2005.

In 2010 Love a Duck by Alan James Brown, published by Gullane (UK) , was finalist at the People's Book Prize.

In 2012 Library Lily written by Gillian Shields, published by Gullane (UK) , won the Patterson Prize for Books for Young People, Pre K-3

In 2022 I was selected on the shortlist Key Colors Competition and my illustrations exhibited "Kleurboel" in Hasselt in Belgium.

Since 2005 many of my illustrations are in Unicef postcards and products Collection.

I also teach drawing and colour theory in Illustration's courses and workshops since 1999.
